Justin Tuck will be watching the Cowboys-Redskins game on Thanksgiving with a rooting interest. He’ll be rooting for a tie.

Whoever wins the NFC East game will emerge as the leading contender to knock the Giants off their throne in the division. So Tuck would rather no one actually win.

“I’m not rooting for any team,” he said. “A Dallas win would put them in a tie with us, a virtual tie, and we have to play Washington next. If Washington wins they’ll have an opportunity to make some noise when we play them. Actually I think it would be better if they tied. There you go.”

Tuck said he will be watching at least “a snippet” of the game.

“I think it’s going to be a good football game,” he said. “Obviously we still have to play Washington and I think they’re going to show some things in that game that we’ll probably see (next Monday).”
