Tom Coughlin hoped that Eli Manning was just suffering from a 24-hour stomach bug. It turned out to be even less than that.

Less than a full day after he had to be removed from practice because of his illness, Manning was back on the field with the team today, going through drills and working with the first offensive unit. He was wearing a ski cap for the early portion of practice while the team was stretching, but soon slipped his football helmet back on and was skipping and running around the field looking none the worse for wear.

The only Giant who was not practicing was Ahmad Bradshaw, who is playing with a cracked bone in his right foot and normally does not practice until Fridays. He spent today’s workout on the stationary bicycle as he often does.
