Mario Manningham is on the Giants’ pre-practice injury report, but the team says that he has been cleared to return to practice today on a limited basis. He missed all of last week – including the game against the Eagles – with a concussion. Manningham had said on Monday that he was cleared, but he really wasn’t until today when the final paperwork went through.

Also on the pre-practice injury report is Justin Tuck, and his injury is listed as a groin/neck. He had some kind of an MRI on Monday, but has assured everyone who will listen that he will play on Sunday against the Cardinals.

Someone else who might play against the Cardinals is Osi Umenyiora. He’s still on the pre-practice injury report with a knee, but there is a pretty good chance that he’ll be on the field for today’s workout too. Depending on how the knee reacts to the strains of practice will determine whether or not he can make it to the game on Sunday.

And the final player on the pre-practice report is Prince Amukamara. He was hoping to be able to travel with the team to Arizona this weekend for a homecoming, but it does not look like he’ll be able to do so. There is some thinking that he might be ready to return to practice next week, though. On Friday it will be eight weeks since he broke the bone in his foot in only his second practice with the team. The Giants thought the recovery would take 7-10 weeks, so we’re certainly inside that window.

Those are the only four players on the pre-practice report.
