Giants Stadium filled with snowballs
The Giants lost to the Chargers, 27-17, but the game became secondary to a massive barrage of snowballs. One struck a member of the Chargers' staff behind the bench at Giants Stadium and numerous fans were injured, arrested or ejected. The Giants led 17-10 when the game was temporarily halted before the Chargers rallied with 17 fourth-quarter points, the big blow being a 99-yard interception return by Shaun Gayle.
