The Giants' injury report and reality provided two different glimpses of where the team is right now.
Because the team only had a jog-through today, they had to project availability had it been a regular practice. So on the team's official report they listed WR Mario Manningham (hip flexor) as not practicing and had Shawn Andrews (back), Shaun O'Hara (foot) and Osi Umenyiora (knee) as limited. (They also declared Steve Smith out for the game, but we knew that already).
Watching the first few chapters of the practice, though, it was clear that there were some people doing things they wouldn't do had it been a full workout and others who were doing more.
Manningham, for instance, did not stretch with the team and was working on some hand-eye drills off to the side while they warmed up. But he was on the field for some of the walk-through reps.
Of course Manningham already told us that he's playing on Sunday in no uncertain terms.
Chris Snee, meanwhile, was not participating in the walk-through even though he did not appear on the official injury report (he might be added later). Snee likely is still nursing the injury that shook him up when he made the tackle on the first interception Monday night. He never came out of the game for it but drew plenty of medical attention on the sideline between series.
Shaun O'Hara also seemed to be taking a good alotment of snaps, and it's looking as if he might be on track to return to action Sunday against the Eagles. Shawn Andrews was also on the field with the team, although not doing as much as some other guys. So he goes down as limited on both the report and actuality.
A few other guys who have had nicks the last few games were working: Justin Tuck, Chris Canty, Ahmad Bradshaw, Osi Umenyiora.
As for the Eagles, who had an actual practice today, they have already listed Stewart Bradley as out with an elbow injury. LB Keenan Clayton (hamstring) and WR DeSean Jackson (foot) did not practice for the Eagles today.
