Just a few quick observations from the portion of practice open to the media today:
Osi Umenyiora was all by his lonesome on the exercise bike. He was the only player who was out at the workout but not working (he has been resting on Wednesdays for most of the season). Shaun O'Hara, whom Tom Coughlin termed as "day to day" even though we all know better, was not on the field.
Ahmad Bradshaw had some fiddling done with some equipment around his ankle. It wasn't clear if it was the tape or the shoes he was wearing, but he had it taken care of and was back to work.
Madison Hedgecock was working. Coughlin said he expected him to "go a little bit more than beyond the individual." He also said that a return of Hedgecock does not necessarily mean that Bear Pascoe goes back to tight end and abandons his new fullback duties.
Gerris Wilkinson was practicing with a big cast on his left hand. Will Beatty was doing some running on teh side, but he's not ready to get back into the action yet. And Kevin Boothe, still on PUP, is cleared to participate fully in practices. The Giants have until next week to make a decision on him, and it appears they will take all of that time.
Oh, and just a quick note from Seattle regarding injuries: Matt Hasselbeck will not practice today due to the mild concussion he suffered on Sunday against the Raiders. That doesn't mean that he will not be available for the game against the Giants. It does mean, however, that he will not be available for the conference call this afternoon with the New York media. Instead we'll get Leon Washington.
