The accolades keep rolling in for Jason Pierre-Paul.
In the last few weeks he’s already been named to the Pro Bowl roster and honored as the NFC Defensive Player of the Month. Today the Associated Press announced that he is a first-team All-Pro defensive end. He received 34 of 50 votes at the position.
The Vikings’ Jared Allen received 49 -- a near-unanymous selection -- while second-teamers Justin Smith (49ers) and Jason Babin (Eagles) received 9 and 7 respectively.
Pierre-Paul finished the season with 16.5 sacks, the fourth-most in the NFL.
Victor Cruz was a second-team All-Pro receiver behind Calvin Johnson, Wes Welker and Larry Fitzgerald. That's not bad company to keep. Guard Chris Snee was the only other Giants player to receiver votes at his position.
