Most NFL fans are just starting to learn the name of Roy Helu, the rookie running back for the Redskins who has run for over 100 yards in three straight weeks. For one of the Giants, though, he’ll be a very familiar face.

Prince Amukamara was not only a teammate of Helu’s at Nebraska, they were best friends. Their relationship aside, Amukamara said it will not be difficult to have to tackle his buddy.

“I’m looking forward to this,” Amukamara said. “If someone is in a different jersey, they’re my enemy on that day.”

They aren’t enemies all the time. They talk regularly, and Amukamara said they spoke to each other two days ago.

“Now we’re in preparation week so I probably won’t hear from him,” Amukamara said. “I’ll talk to him after the game.”
