I posted a blog last night about the way the Patriots have been smothering the Giants with kind words. Antrel Rolle said he’s not surprised by that.

“They should be complimentary,” he said. “We both understand what both teams possess. Same thing if you ask me about Tom Brady, what am I going to say? I can’t say he’s a slouch when I know he’s not. You give every man his due. Every professional in this league deserves that. Before the game, after the game, you give them your respect. But during the game there’s no respect at all.”

Rolle did say that he’s not paying much attention to what is said from the Patriots, whether it is praise or not.

“It doesn’t matter what we hear,” he said. “None of that ---- matters.”
