T-Rock's Take on the Giants
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Last year’s battle for backup quarterback ended in a draw as both Curtis Painter and Ryan Nassib made the roster. That left the Giants with three quarterbacks on the roster for the first time since 2007. This year, Tom Coughlin would like to have a winner in that competition.
And even though the Giants re-signed Painter, it’s clear that Nassib has the edge.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Justin Tuck and Hakeem Nicks are no longer Giants, and the idea that the team let them sign elsewhere as free agents without much of a financial fight – and in the case of Nicks, not even an actual offer – would have been astounding just a year and a half ago.
Tom Coughlin spoke about both players at the NFC coaches breakfast on Wednesday morning at the NFL’s annual meetings.

INDIANAPOLIS – We’re here at the NFL Scouting Combine to talk about the future players, but inevitably when coaches come to the podium questions turn to the players already on the roster. INDIANAPOLIS -- New Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo remains a man of mystery. He has yet to meet with the media since being named to his new position, so there are naturally lots of questions about what his schemes and play-calling will be like.

Mike Sullivan interviewed for the Giants’ offensive coordinator position today, but he’ll apparently have to wait until the weekend to hear whether he gets the job or not. Besides Sullivan, the Giants will interview former...Read more »

“Sometimes you just have to hit...Read more »
Despite the first home shutout since 1995, the first season with two shutouts since 1996, a quarterback on the verge of setting the franchise record for most interceptions in a season and the first losing season since 2004, Tom Coughlin said that he’s sticking with offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride.
