We already knew that Brandon Jacobs and Aaron Ross would be out for the game against the Vikings because they were put on IR. And Tom Coughlin said yesterday that Chris Canty would be out for the game, but he wasn't listed as that yesterday. Well, today he is along with Kareem McKenzie and Corey Webster.
The Giants also have four questionable players for sunday: Ahmad Bradshaw, Mario Manningham, Justin Tuck and Rich Seubert. Tuck and Seubert were limited in practice today. Bradshaw did not practice. And Manninggam practiced fully but is still listed as questionable.
Eli Manning, Hakeem Nicks and Fred Robbins are probable.
A name we've heard a bit of this week (and you'll read a bit about tomorrow in Newsday) is Ramses Barden. The quetion with him has been: How do the Giants get him on the field? Well, it seems they may have an answer. If Manningham is still listed as questionable even though he practiced fully today, it might be in the Giants' plans to sit him in favor of Barden on Sunday.
Quoth Coughlin on all such matters: We'll see.
By the way, gutsy job by Seubert to pull himself back up to being questionable. Would have been easy for him to just coast to the finish line with shoulder and knee injuries. In a sport where the word gets thrown around a little too liberally, Seubert is a tough guy.
