Forget all of those "maybes," "hopefullys," and "that's the plans." The Giants' big three are back.
Justin Tuck, Brandon Jacobs and Chris Snee are all active and will be playing today against the Dolphins. Snee obviously will start. We'll see what happens with Tuck and Jacobs. Perry Fewell said he wouldn't decide on his starting ends until Saturday, and Coughlin said Tuck would be on a snap count. Jacobs, meanwhile, doesn't play all that much anyway (as you may have heard, he's noticed that).
The one guy the Giants were holding out hope for who did not make it to the gameday roster is Stacy Andrews. The tackle who has been lining up as the sixth lineman had a back issue this week and will not play. That leaves the Giants with only two active backup linemen: Kevin Boothe and Jim Cordle. Expect Boothe -- who has started at center and guard in the last two games -- to be the backup tackle and probably line up in that sixth spot on short-yardage and power downs.
The rest of the Giants inactives besides Andrews: Prince Amukamara, Da'Rel Scott, Henry Hynsoki, Mitch Petrus, Dwayne Hendricks, and James Brewer.
The Dolphins' inactives are Cylde Gates, Vontae Davis, Daniel Thomas, Will Barker, Richie Incognito, Will Yeatman and Phillip Merling.
Nate Garner will start for Ingognito at left guard, Jimmy Wilson will start at corner for Davis, and Tyrone Culver will start at safety for Reshad Jones.
