Lots going on here on Sunday morning at Giants camp, but not all that much of it happening to the Giants.

First, the big news: This morning Plaxico Burress agreed to sign with the Jets. Anyone who heard his interview with Stephen A. Smith shortly after he got out of jail last month shouldn't be surprised by that. Plax gets the best of all worlds with this: He stays in New York to find redemption and he doesn't have to deal with Coughlin.

The other items: ProFootballTalk is reporting that the Redskins are making a push for ahmad Bradshaw. I don't know how serious that interest is, but it's certainly worth monitoring since the Giants would be pretty short-handed if they lose Bradshaw. Many of us wrote cute stories about how D.J. Ware is the first-string running back for the time being, but I don't know that anyone really knows what to expect from him if he has to carry a serious load in the backfield.

And of course, Osi Umenyiora is expected to speak this afternoon. It will be the convergence of all major storylines when I ask Osi for his thoughts on Plaxico staying in New York and signing with the Jets.

More updates throughout the day. Remember, practice is from 6-8 tonight and it's free and open to the public. They didn't even have 1,000 fans here last night, so there should be plenty of room
