Ware sits, Bradshaw limited

We were surprised when Ahmad Bradshaw was practicing today, as he usually waits until later in the week to take the field with his cracked foot. But for the Giants, they didn’t gain a running back. They just came out even.

That’s because D.J. Ware was a surprise addition to the injury report. He sat out practice with a knee injury. Whether that necessitated Bradshaw’s participation (which was officially limited) or not we don’t know.

But other than that, the injury report played out just as we expected. Jake Ballard (knee), Mark Herzlich (ankle), Mario Manningham (knee) and Osi Umenyiora (ankle) all did not practice along with Ware.

David Baas (neck), Travis Beckum (chest), Bradshaw (foot), Derrick Martin (back), Bear Pascoe (ribs) and Devin Thomas (neck) were limited.

As for practice, the players generally acknowledged that it was a spirited venture.
