Will Osi and Sheridan exchange pleasantries?

I had a chance to speak with Bill Sheridan -- who to many Giants fans is like Voldemort and addressed as "he who shall not be named" -- and wrote about him for Sunday's paper. He's now a linebackers coach for the Dolphins and you can read his thoughts about coming back to New York to face the Giants here and here.

At one point in the first article, I wonder aloud (or at least type it very loudly) what the exchange will be like -- or if there will even be one -- between Sheridan and Osi Umenyiora. I didn't get a chance to ask Osi about it this week, but I did suggest to Dave Tollefson that it would be awkward and that Osi probably wouldn't give Bill a warm welcome back.

"Don’t put it past him," Tollefson told me. "That’s water under the bridge. It’s not like it was last year either. Everybody’s kind of gone their separate ways. To think that Osi wouldn’t say hi to him ... if they see each other they’ll say hi."
