In a move that could signal the end of JaMarcus Russell's ill-fated three-year career with the Raiders, Oakland traded for Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell. The move comes less than a month after the Redskins acquired Donovan McNabb from the Iggles and made Campbell (pictured) expendable.
The Raiders have already extended Campbell's contract through the 2011 season, and Campbell now believes he will be the guy in Oakland.
"I feel like I'm going to be the starter," he told the NFL Network's Rich Eisen.
Russell was the first overall player taken in the 2007 draft, but his career has been marked by poor play and excessive weight gain.
Now that Campbell is in the house, you have to wonder whether the Raiders will send Russell packing.
