Jets linebacker Bart Scott’s now-famous “Can’t wait” rant following a playoff victory over the Patriots last season has certainly taken a life of its own. Now, it’s going to help a life.

Scott is taking his trademarked “can’t wait” slogan and launching a clothing line and donating a portion of the proceeds to the “LeGrand Believe Fund,” according to Eric LeGrand was a linebacker at Rutgers who suffered a spinal cord injury in a 2010 game against Army at the New Meadowlands Stadium.

"I've never met him but I heard he's a great kid," Scott told "He has a lot of concerns and needs right now, but I know someday he will walk, and that's something I can't wait for."

LeGrand, 20, has not let his paralysis slow him down. He makes the rounds as a public speaker giving inspiration to many people. LeGrand continues to take classes at Rutgers in pursuit of his degree.

"I believe I am a strong enough person to go through this," LeGrand told Newsday in May. "I think I can help motivate other people not to look down on the injury. I truly believe I can help other people out."
