Just went through my recorder to clear out Sunday night stuff to make room for the rest of the week. Here are some leftovers:
Woody on Pats owner Bob Kraft visiting him after the game:
"He just said, 'You outplayed us today.' He wished me well. He said, 'I hope you go all the way.' That was a very nice and gracious thing for him to do, and I really appreciated it."
Bart Scott on Rex:
"You guys should be appreciative that he lets you into the world of what coaches really believe. He’s not sitting up here putting smoke and mirrors and saying one thing to you guys and saying something different to us."
Scott, sarcastically, about whether the Pats are arrogant:
"Of course they’re not arrogant. They can do whatever they want. If you listened to the pregame shows, I would believe it, too."
Jason Taylor on going home to Pittsburgh:
"I look forward to going back to where I was born and raised and first started playing football at 16 years old. It’s not Three Rivers Stadium, but it’s still the Steelers. It’ll be fun."
