Brandon Moore could be the next Jet to take their talents to South Florida.
The free-agent right guard is meeting Wednesday with the Miami Dolphins, according to multiple reports.
It was a foregone conclusion that Moore – who turns 33 in June – wouldn’t return to the Jets. But it’s taken longer than expected for him to land with another team.
According to a recent ESPNChicago.com report, the Bears are also interested in acquiring Moore, who hasn’t missed a game since 2003 and was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2011.
The Dolphins – who made waves after signing top-tier receiver Mike Wallace – recently added former Jets tight end Dustin Keller to Ryan Tannehill’s arsenal.
The Jets signed former Steelers guard/tackle Willie Colon to help fill the void of Moore and Matt Slauson’s (expected) imminent departures. A source told Newsday they’re also interested in former Giant Kevin Boothe.
