The Jets go to Denver with two main objectives: Run the ball down the Broncos' throats and keep Denver from running.
If things go as they have for the 2-3 Broncos, those objectives shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish.
The Broncos are 25th in the league in run defense, allowing a healthy 4.4 yards per carry. They are dead last in run offense, at 2.3 yards per carry, a full yard worse than the next team on the list.
"It's certainly not what we wanted," Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said of his team's running game.
The only reason the Broncos aren't among the winless is Kyle Orton and the passing game. Three Denver receivers have 29 or more receptions and 300+ receiving yards: Jabar Gaffney (31 catches, 327 yards, 1 TD), Brandon Lloyd (30, 586, 3) and Eddie Royal (29, 330, 2).
