Revis practiced fully today, but said he knows he wouldn't be allowed to play if the game were tomorrow.
Monday could be another story.
"My mind's telling me I'm ready to go out there, but it's day by day," Revis said. "I ran as much as I could, and I didn't feel no tug or no pull. As of right now it's feeling good.
"With this injury, it's 100 percent or it's a no-go. Even if you're at 95 percent, that last five percent could hurt you and set you back for the rest of the season."
Here are some other quotes from Revis today:
On whether he'll be on Randy Moss on Monday: "If I play Monday night, I'll be 100 percent, and I'll be on Moss... It's no revenge (for the touchdown Moss caught on Sept. 19). He made a great a play. My thing is just to go out and do what I do. Randy, he makes plays and makes touchdowns. My job is to go out and stop him."
On what Moss' absence does to the Patriots: "I don't think they'll have a vertical game now. They're going to be more short-to-intermediate passing."
On Brett Favre: "I got to practice against him a couple times, I picked him off a couple times. But he's a legendary quarterback, he can still play the game and I would love to play against him and make some plays against him."
And on whether he would stay to one side of the defensive field, as he did in the opener against the Ravens following his holdout: "If I'm 100 percent I'm going to track their No. 1 receiver down. That first game, we tried to be cautious and it happened anyway -- I pulled my hamstring anyway."
Revis went to get treatment on his hamstring and anticipated he'd be sore tomorrow. "But there's no pain, which is a big thing for me," he said.
