The Jets are so bad, even "Fireman Ed" can't stand it.

Ed Anzalone -- the most recognizable Jets fans there is -- apparently left MetLife Stadium at halftime when the Jets were trailing 35-3. He did not return.

Fireman Ed's Twitter account also was deactivated at some point during the game -- an eventual 49-19 beatdown by the Patriots.

Anzalone is best known as one of the staunchest Jets supporters. Recently, he took to Twitter to question the validity of a Daily News report that cited anonymous sources ripping backup quarterback Tim Tebow. Fans who were seated in the same vicinity as "Fireman Ed" confirmed he left his seats at halftime and never came back.
