It's not time to get concerned yet. Let's underscore the yet.

But LB David Harris wasn't practicing today, still sidelined by an ankle sprain that might keep him off the practice field all week if not out of Saturday's wild-card matchup with the Bengals in Cincinnati altogether. We'll have to get the definitive word from Rex Ryan later, but it would be a huge blow obviously if the Jets are without Harris.

He's a tackling machine and leads the Jets with 127 tackles. He's also third on the team in sacks with 5.5. Despite all that, Bengals RB Cedric Benson doesn't know much about him.

"I don't know how big of an impact he makes on that defense," Benson told reporters in Cincy. "I'm not a big names guy or who's playing. I don't know who that is."

LB Ryan Fowler, who suffered a blow to the head Sunday, practiced at Harris' inside spot but was wearing a red non-contact penny over his jersey.

A couple of other quick practice nuggets from The Hangar:

K Jay Feely, who's the emergency punter, was punting during special teams drills. It's probably just a precautionary thing with P Steve Weatherford's tweaked hammy and all. Weatherford's net was 26.7 Sunday and his overall average was 43.3 thanks to a 54-yarder. He dropped one of his three punts inside the 20.

Lastly, reserve DB and special teams standout James Ihedigbo went down in pain during a special teams drill. I didn't see exactly what happened to drop him to the turf, but he was laying on the ground writhing in pain for a couple of minutes before walking off grasping at what appeared to be his left elbow.

More details as we get them.
