The euphoria surrounding the team is almost palpable, but there is one detail that is troubling Rex Ryan.
The status of linebacker David Harris.
Harris (who leads the team with 127 combined tackles and is third with 5.5 sacks) suffered an ankle sprain in the second quarter of yesterday’s win over Cincinnati and did not return.
“I’m definitely concerned,” coach Rex Ryan said. “But I know if there’s any possible way that he can play, he’ll play.”
But Ryan said he doesn’t expect Harris to be “full-go” at practice Tuesday.
And if Harris is unavailable for Saturday's AFC playoff game against the Bengals, that means Ryan Fowler or Kenwin Cummings could wind up being his replacement.
