Jason Taylor doesn't get too emotional. He's about as even-keeled as you can get.
But there's something that's struck a nerve in the pass rushing linebacker and he made it clear he's not happy about it.
Taylor was bothered by a report on profootballtalk.com stating that he planned on calling it quits after this season. Not true, he says.
"It’s amazing the crap Mike Florio puts out there," Taylor said after the Jets 9-0 loss to the Packers at New Meadowlands Stadium. "I don’t know where it comes from. But no, I don’t plan to retire, I don’t want to play for anybody else."
"It’s not all my decision at the end of the year," he continued, "but there will be several factors that go into that. We may have some labor unrest or whatever, but to just arbitrarily put these sources or whatever [out there], it’s silly."
