There was a published report today stating Plaxico Burress, Santonio Holmes and Derrick Mason each went to Rex Ryan over the last few weeks to complain about offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.

However, the Jets have issued a statement categorically denying the story that appeared in the Daily News today.

"The New York Jets deny a report this morning that wide receivers Plaxico Burress, Santonio Holmes and Derrick Mason have gone to Head Coach Rex Ryan individually in the past few weeks to question offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer’s system," the statement read.

Interesting that the Jets decided to put out a statement about this on gameday. We'll see what the players have to say about it after today's tilt with the Patriots.
