Jets coach Rex Ryan came into his daily news conference sounding pumped up after what he termed a "good day" in practice. "Guys were flying around and working hard," Ryan said.

Of course, the progress of quarterback Mark Sanchez (pictured handing off against Bills) and his sore throwing shoulder is being monitored closely this week heading to Saturday night's first-round playoff game in Indianapolis. "I thought he did well today," Ryan said. "We still have him on a pitch count. I have no idea what it is, but he did well and made all the throws. He definitely has some zip on the ball."

Although some players were limited in practice, Ryan said, "Everybody should be ready to play."

Here's the daily injury list and practice status: (Limited practice) S James Ihedigbo (knee/ankle), DT Sione Pouha (back), DT Trevor Pryce (hip), CB Darrelle Revis (hamstring), QB Mark Sanchez (right shoulder), OLB Bryan Thomas (ankle), OT Damien Woody (knee). (Full practice) CB Antonio Cromartie (groin), DE Shaun Ellis (back), WR Santonio Holmes (quad), C Nick Mangold (shoulder), OG Matt Slauson (thumb), S Eric Smith (concussion), OT Robert Turner (thumb).
