The Jets will open the 2016 preseason against their former general manager and their former No. 1 running back.

On Thursday, the NFL revealed the exhibition schedule for all 32 teams. Up first for the Jets? The Jacksonville Jaguars.

John Idzik served as the Jets’ GM in 2013-14 and now works in the Jaguars’ front office. Last month, Jacksonville signed Jets free agent Chris Ivory to a five-year, $32-million deal.

In preseason Week 2, the Jets will travel to Washington to face the Redskins. As is customary, the Jets will face the Giants in the annual Snoopy Bowl in Week 3 of the preseason. The Jets will be the home team in the game.

Last year, the Jets beat the Giants, 28-18, to earn the ultimate prize — a bronze statue of Snoopy — and later defeated their in-stadium rivals, 23-20, on Dec. 6.

As was the case last year, the Jets will close out the preseason on the road against the Eagles.

The league is expected to announce the regular-season schedule later this month.
