Former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson said Tuesday at the Senior Bowl that he interviewed officially with members of the Jets staff, according to The New York Post.

Robinson, a former starting quarterback for the Wolverines, is now making the transition from signal-caller to receiver. But his opportunities at the Senior Bowl are limited. The former Michigan star, nicknamed “Shoelace” is sporting a non-contact jersey for the second straight day because of an elbow injury.

Denard Robinson wore a yellow No. 16 no-contact jersey for the second straight day because of his nagging elbow injury at the Senior Bowl.
