The Jets got an up close view of Ground Zero today.

Following their kickoff luncheon at Cipriani Wall Street this afternoon, the team toured the construction site in lower Manhattan. It apparently left quite an impression, based on a few tweets.

"Very humbling experience just walked out to see Ground Zero. A really heart felt experience God Bless everyone," cornerback Antonio Cromartie tweeted.

Linebacker Jamaal Westerman took a picture of the fast-rising tower at the site, and wrote in a tweet: Went down to the World Trade site. 1 World Trade, humbling."

Linebacker Aaron Maybin tweeted: "Visiting the World Trade Center site with the rest of the D. Powerful experience..."
