Rex Ryan said it was "definitely a possibility" that Drew Coleman, who started on the outside corner in Buffalo while rookie Kyle Wilson played the nickel, would move inside to the nickel if Darrelle Revis returns on Monday night.
Where does that leave Wilson? Playing in the dime packages, which might mean not very much at all on defense, given the Vikings offense runs through RB Adrian Peterson.
"(The coaches) just told me to focus, to pick out some things and work at them every day," Wilson said. "I just need to do things a little differently."
Wilson said he knows his role will change with Revis' return. He will still return punts, but he may be on the sideline watching more on Monday.
"Either way (playing or sitting), I'm going to benefit from it," Wilson said. "I still have a positive outlook, that's the biggest thing.
"It is coming at me pretty fast, but I'm the only one who can slow it down."
