Center Nick Mangold was the only Jet selected to the 2015 Pro Bowl team.

Sheldon Richardson, Muhammad Wilkerson, D'Brickashaw Ferguson and Chris Ivory were all selected as alternates.

"It's a great honor to be selected," Mangold, now a six-time Pro Bowler, told the team's website. "My teammates, especially those in the trenches with me, were the ones that made this possible. Thank you to the great Jets fans that voted for me.

"I am very proud to be representing the Jets in Arizona and I look forward to getting out there and wearing the green and white with pride."

Richardson had said he would have been surprised if he didn't hear his name called during the Tuesday night selection show. "But if not, I won't miss it again," said the 2013 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, who is a second alternate.

Richardson, the team's sack leader with seven, also was voted the Jets' MVP by his teammates.

Wilkerson is a third alternate; Ferguson, a three-time Pro Bowl participant, is fifth alternate; and Ivory is eighth alternate.
