Utah alum Sione Pouha and his wife Keiti have contributed $50,000 to the university’s Invest in Excellence campaign for the new Utah football complex.

The alumni locker room of the center, which is scheduled to open for the 2013 season, will bear Pouha’s name.

A four-year letterman for Utah from 2001-04, Pouha was an all-conference defensive tackle for Utah’s 2004 “BCS Buster” team that went 12-0 and beat Pittsburgh in the Fiesta Bowl. The Utes, then members of the Mountain West Conference, were the first team from a non-BCS conference to play in and win a BCS bowl game.
