Punter Weatherford hurts hamstring, is questionable

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - Jets punter Steve Weatherford is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals after tweaking his right hamstring during Friday's practice, coach Rex Ryan said.

"The good thing about playing the late game is you can spend as much time to heal as possible," Ryan said, referring to the 8:30 p.m. kickoff time. "We'll see what the doctors and trainers think and how Steve feels."

Though Ryan said he'll work "some guys out" Saturday, the coach said kicker Jay Feely will be the backup punter if Weatherford is unavailable.

Good riddance?

Perhaps there are a few Jets who will miss Giants Stadium. But tackle Damien Woody isn't one of them.

"I don't really have much history. This is only my second year here," he said. "And to be honest with you, I don't think the Jets have much history at Giants Stadium - being that it's Giants Stadium. It's named after somebody else."

When asked if the name annoys him, Woody said, "A little bit, yeah. Playing in a place where it's named after another team is kind of annoying. But we're not even concerned with that . . . Right now our concern is the Cincinnati Bengals and the opportunity to be one of 12 teams to participate in the playoffs. That's our main goal."
