Sales heat up for Jets' expensive stadium seats

The Jets' deep playoff run could not have come at a better time for a team trying to sell expensive personal seat licenses and game tickets in a new stadium, and there are signs it is paying off.

Remaining seats in the upper deck at New Meadowlands Stadium - for which the Jets are not selling PSLs - recently sold out, although some will open up on occasion as fans upgrade to PSL seats.

Matt Higgins, the team's executive VP for business, said sales overall are at a "brisk pace" amid excitement over the Jets reaching the AFC Championship Game.

The team has been advertising the new stadium heavily in recent weeks, on TV and radio and in print.
