Shurmur added to Jets' OC list

A source confirmed Pat Shurmur, who was fired by the Browns at season-end, will interview with the Jets for -- though the specific date has not yet been nailed down.

Stanford’s Pep Hamilton is on deck to interview Tuesday, according to multiple reports. The Jets reportedly met with Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg on Friday and recently-fired Ravens OC Cam Cameron Monday. 

Former Jets OC Tony Sparano was fired a week ago and will interview for the Chiefs offensive line job.

...Speaking of former OCs, Brian Schottenheimer is headed to Jacksonville tonight for his scheduled interview tomorrow for the Jaguars' head coaching job, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.


Chargers director of player personnel Jimmy Raye III has been named the Colts’ vice president of football operations. The Jets had considered Raye, but a formal interview never took place.
