Darrelle Revis is not making any predictions about the game. But he has some thoughts on the weather, particularly in his area of the field.
Asked what it was going to be like on “Revis Island,” the uncharted place where receivers disappear to, Revis smiled.
“It’s going to be a lot of storms,” he said. “There are going to be a lot of storms. It’s going to be crazy. We just have to fight through the storm.”
Revis might not be aware that the game will be played indoors, and so if there are storms they will not affect the actual game.
As for the idea that such a place as “Revis Island,” a term coined by Chad Ochocinco, exists?
“All this Revis Island stuff is fun,” he said. “You enjoy it, but the bigger goal is just being consistent and playing and going out there and trying to cover these guys the best way I can.“
