Jets can't catch Duper

Mark Duper had eight catches for 217 yards and two touchdowns, the second coming with 41 seconds remaining to give the Miami Dolphins a 21-17 win over the Jets at the Orange Bowl in Miami. Duper had scoring receptions of 60 and 50 yards from Dan Marino, who was 21-for-37 for 362 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. Jets quarterback Ken O'Brien completed 26 of 43 passes for 393 yards and two touchdowns, with Al Toon on the receiving end of 10 passes for 156 yards. Freeman McNeil ran for 107 yards on 26 carries.
