LaDainian Tomlinson is going to sit this one out.

The running back, who was listed as questionable although Rex Ryan indicated Friday that he was closer to being doutbful, won't be playing in today's AFC East matchup with the Bills here at MetLife Stadium. Tomlinson has been nursing a sprained left MCL suffered in the fourth quarer of the Jets loss to the Patriots two weeks ago, and hasn't practiced since.

Tomlinson said Friday that he was hopeful of playing, but had to convince the coaches he'd be all right since he hadn't been able to show them much given he hasn't been able to practice. So this will be the second straight game the future Hall of Famer has sat out.

Kerley, who's also nursing a knee injury, hasn't practiced in two weeks, and the rookie wide receiver is also inactive for today's tilt.

As for the rest of the Jets inactives, they are: QB Kevin O'Connell, CB Ellis Lankster, T Austin Howard, DT Kenrick Ellis and NT Martin Tevaseu.

Buffalo's inactives: K Rian Lindell, WR Naaman Roosevelt, S George Wilson, OL Demetrius Bell, WR Derek Hagan, DE Kyle Moore and NT Torrell Troup.

Enjoy the game.
