As we've seen, head coach Rex Ryan's confidence and bravado is contagious. The moment his "we should be the favorite" message escaped his lips, it seeped into the ears of every guy on the roster.
No one -- and I mean, no one -- in that locker room believes the Jets will lose.
Here's what tackle Damien Woody had to say about Sunday's divisional game against the Chargers: “It’s so important to take control on the line of scrimmage early and really establish that presence, and convert first-down after first-down, after first-down.
"That’ll suck the wind out of a team and out of a stadium. And that’s going to be our goal. We just want to be methodical, keep moving the chains, and finishing our drives off with a touchdown."
"It’s going to be a street fight out there," he added. "We’re like backyard brawlers, that’s the type of mentality we have. We’re just trying to bludgeon people. That’s just the way we go about our business on both sides of the ball. I’m sure they understand that and we’ll see how it all plays out."
