Lockout is back on after ruling

A three-panel judge from the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals tonight granted the NFL's request for a stay of the preliminary injunction granted on Monday that lifted the league's six-week-old lockout.

The ruling means the lockout is now back in effect, and players are no longer allowed in team facilities. The league had allowed players to return to their respective teams' training complexes as of 8 a.m. today, but the ruling by the Court of Appeals means they are no longer allowed.
