Alzado was a dominant force on the defensive line for 15 NFL seasons. He recovered 20 fumbles in his career, and totaled 23 sacks during his four seasons with the Raiders (NFL began counting sacks in 1982). Alzado died in 1992 from brain lymphoma, which he attributed to his years of steroid abuse. (Credit: AP )
