Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb addressed the Brett Favre saga with a smile Wednesday after practice.

"I'm just like you, watching the soap opera continue on," he said. "He flew into Minnesota and they're all happy, and you guys can report some more news of when he brushes his teeth or when he showers."

Would McNabb, 33, ever string out his career when he gets to be Favre's age?

"If you're 38 or 39, and you know that you can't be productive like you're used to being productive, then there's no reason to step back in," he said. "If you feel like you can be productive and play at a high level, then obviously that's a tough decision to make. I can't really speak on it because I'm not 38 or 39 or 40."
