At least one player with Long Island ties made his preseason debut for the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday night.

Former Stony Brook offensive tackle Michael Bamiro made an appearance in the Eagles' 31-22 loss to the New England Patriots at Lincoln Financial Field, while wide receiver Ifeanyi Momah (Greenlawn) did not record a statistic.

Bamiro had a solid game, demonstrating the power that once helped open up running lanes for the Seawolves' potent rushing attack.

The 6-7 Momah went to Glenn High School and attended Boston College. He suffered a knee injury in his senior season in 2011 and went back to school and got his MBA before giving football another try.
