Caught up with Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo and asked about his situation at quarterback and all the speculation about the team going after Eagles quarterback Michael Vick.

Sounds like Spagnuolo isn't doing anything to squash the speculation that has Vick heading to the midwest to take over for Marc Bulger.

"I’ve got a lot of respect for Michael as a player," Spagnuolo said. "Everything I’ve heard out of Philadelphia is kind of good. We haven’t gone down that road in our process yet. I think he’s a terrific player."

Spagnuolo wouldn't speculate on what he'll do at quarterback, or what will happen with the first overall pick the Rams own in the draft. But if he does go after Vick, it would allow him to pick a defensive player with the first choice. The consensus top pick on defense is Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
