Randy Moss will be working overtime this season. The 33-year-old wide receiver, traded today from the Patriots to the Vikings, will be in position to become the sixth player to participate in 17 regular season games. Had Moss remained with the Patriots this week, he'd have taken this weekend off with a bye.
The others to participate in 17 games as a result of playing for two teams in a single season:
Chris Singleton, Patriots & Dolphins in 1993
Dexter Carter, Jets & 49ers in 1995
Jerry Rice, Raiders & Seahawks in 2004
Micah Ross, Chargers & Panthers in 2004
Will Witherspoon, Rams & Eagles in 2009
