After a weekend recess, the NFL and NFL Players Association are set to resume negotiations today at 1 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
Federal mediator George Cohen is overseeing the talks, which have not yielded any meaningful progress despite seven consecutive days of negotiations that concluded last Thursday.
The talks are clouded by threats of a lockout by the owners, as well as the potential decertification of the NFLPA. The current collective bargaining agreement expires after 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
We'll be on scene to cover the proceedings, although Cohen has insisted that neither side speak publicly about the talks.
Owners are scheduled to meet at a hotel in northern Virginia tomorrow and Thursday, where they will be briefed about the talks.
