Kudos to Mr. G for leading all Newsday handicappers in regular-season wins against the spread (I led the way with a 12-5 record in best bets).

But, like the actual teams, those records get washed away in the postseason. This is when you separate the men from the boy toys.

For Jets fans, the anticipation is palpable -- or is that just the storm warnings?

Either way, in a little more than 24 hours, the Jets will take the field at Lucas Oil Stadium trying to wash away the memories of last year's loss in the AFC Championship Game.

Can the 2.5-point underdogs pull off the upset? Glauber and I think so (as does the Watchdog), but not many others do.

Who cares what they say? Go with Gang Green.
