With all the speculation swirling about a potential deal that would send Iggles quarterback Donovan McNabb to the Raiduhs, there is now speculation that if said deal were to come off, said quarterback would refuse to report.
TMZ.com, which normally brings you news of OctoMom, Jon & Kate, and the latest Lindsay Lohan drama, is reporting that McNabb (pictured) would not go to the Raiduhs if the deal came off.
The report also suggests that the 49ers could also become players in the McNabb sweepstakes, although the 49ers have indicated no plans to add McNabb. At least not yet. Their current plan calls for Alex Smith to be the starter. He is backed up by former Texans, Panthers and Giants QB David Carr.
Meanwhile, Yahoo!'s Jason Cole reports that, according to two sources, McNabb would like to play for the Cardinals, although Arizona appears set with Matt Leinart and the recently acquired Derek Anderson from Cleveland. McNabb makes his off-season home in suburban Phoenix.
