Ricky Williams lands in Baltimore

UPDATE: Williams signs a two-year, $4 million deal

UPDATE: Williams signs a two-year, $4 million deal with the Ravens
Running back, Miami Dolphins
2010 stats:
673 yards rushing, 141 receiving, 3 TDs
At age 34, Williams is on the tail end of his career. But he's brings a veteran presence and multiple skill sets to a team. He may not match his 2009 numbers (1,121 rushing yards, 11 TDs), but he'd be a good addition to any backfield in need of depth.

Running back Ricky Williams, who wasn't asked back by the Dolphins this season, has landed in Baltimore. Williams has agreed to a two-year, $4 million deal with the Ravens to serve as a backup to starting tailback Ray Rice.

It's a perfect landing spot for Williams, who still appears to have plenty left at age 34. Williams had 673 rushing yards and two TDs in a limited role last year, and has rushed for over 4.1 yards per carry in his last three seasons with Miami.

He'll get plenty of playing time for the Ravens, who love to run the football and were in the market for a backup to Rice, the team's diminutive workhorse back.
